Social Responsibility - Relief Provided to Flood Victims

Along with the mission of revealing the essense of Sanatan Dharm, Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat regularly organises philohthropic activities.
Similarly, Shyama Shyam Dham, in addition to devotional sadhana programs, has been actively involved in social activities since its establishment. In this context, the Dham had requested satsangis and other people to help recent flood victims of Nepal. People actively participated in the program and contributed as much as they could. The fund so collected was handovered by the President of Shyama Shyam Dham, Mr. Hari Prasad Pandey, to the Chief District Officer of Bhaktapur District at a program organised in the Ashram on 28 August. The fund amounted Rs. 1,51,000.00

Janmashtami Celebration 2008

Shree Krishn Janmashtmi is the day when our beloved Kanhaiya appeared on this earth 5000 years ago. At Shyama Shyam Dham, Thimi, the occasion was celebrated throughout the day with Satsang Program, leela performances and more.
Satsang program started from 8 in the morning throughout the day till midnight. Thousands of devotees came for Darsan of Shree Radha Krishn in the Bhakti Mandir. Leela of Lord Shiva going for Darsan of baby Krishn in the house of Yasoda was performed and there were a few dance and cultural programs. Ram Krishna Dhakal, the famous singer of Nepal, also performed two bhajans of Jagadguru Shree Kripalu Ji Maharaj.
Delicious Prasadi was offered to people who came for Darsan.
Meanwhile, a blood donation program was organised at Shyama Shyam Dham, Thimi in which around fifty satsangis donated blood.


At 12 midnight, the time when Shree Krishn descended to this earh planet, a birthday cake was cut by satsangis jointly with a beautifully decorated doll of baby Krishn. After arati the program ended.
